RosCar Chile is a car rental aggregator. We help customers compare and book vehicles offered by international and local rental companies in Chile. We are not always the direct supplier of the vehicle. The final rental service is provided by the rental company shown in your booking confirmation or voucher.

1. Our Service

RosCar Chile provides an online platform where customers can search, compare, and book rental cars in Chile. Cars may be available for pickup at the airport, for pickup at a city location, or for delivery to a hotel or another address within the city, depending on the supplier and location.

Our platform allows customers to select the rental and return location, choose a vehicle type, add extra options, enter driver contact details, and complete a reservation by making a partial advance payment.

2. Main Advantages Offered on Our Website

Depending on the selected vehicle, supplier, and rental conditions, our website may offer the following benefits:

3. Booking Process

To book a vehicle on RosCar Chile, the customer must complete the following steps:

  1. Select the rental location and return location
  2. Choose the preferred vehicle type
  3. Select additional options, if available
  4. Provide the driver contact details
  5. Confirm the booking and make an advance payment of 15% to 20%

After the booking is completed, the customer will receive a voucher by email with the booking instructions and the contact details of the rental company.

4. Payment Terms

To confirm a reservation, the customer must pay an advance amount of 15% to 20% of the total booking value. The exact advance payment amount may vary depending on the selected vehicle, rental company, season, location, and booking conditions.

The remaining balance is usually paid directly to the rental company according to the conditions stated in the voucher or at the time of vehicle pickup, unless otherwise specified during the booking process.

5. Rental Supplier Conditions

Since RosCar Chile acts as an aggregator, each rental company may have its own rules regarding driver age, driving experience, vehicle availability, payment methods, insurance coverage, mileage policy, fuel policy, border crossing, and delivery service.

By completing a booking, the customer also agrees to the rental conditions of the final supplier. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the supplier’s specific rental rules, the supplier’s rules may apply to the actual vehicle rental service.

6. Vehicle Availability

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability at the time of confirmation by the rental company. Although RosCar Chile makes every effort to display accurate availability, a selected vehicle cannot be guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.

If the exact vehicle is unavailable, the rental company may offer a similar car in the same or higher category, subject to its own policies.

7. Airport Pickup and City or Hotel Delivery

Vehicles may be available for pickup at airports and city locations. In some cases, delivery to a hotel or another city address may also be available. Delivery options depend on the supplier, the city, the distance, operating hours, and local conditions.

Additional delivery requirements or charges may apply in some cases. The final delivery terms will be provided during the booking process or in the voucher.

8. Driver Requirements

The main driver must provide accurate and complete contact details during the booking process. The driver must also meet the rental company’s requirements, which may include a valid driving license, passport or identification document, minimum age, and minimum driving experience.

Some suppliers may require additional documents at the time of pickup. Failure to provide the required documents may result in refusal of the rental without refund of amounts already paid, subject to the supplier’s rules.

9. Extra Options

Customers may be able to choose extra options during the booking process. Available options may include:

  • Without deposit
  • Without credit card
  • Insurance
  • Child seat

Extra options are subject to availability and may differ depending on the car, supplier, and location.

10. Cancellation and Changes

RosCar Chile may offer free cancellation for eligible bookings. Free cancellation is available only when clearly stated in the selected offer or booking terms.

Requests for cancellation or changes must be submitted in accordance with the conditions stated in the booking confirmation or voucher. Some bookings may be non refundable or may be subject to supplier fees, especially if the request is made close to the pickup time or after the booking has been confirmed.

11. No Deposit and No Credit Card Rentals

RosCar Chile offers selected vehicles that may be rented without a deposit or without a credit card. These options are available only for specific offers and suppliers. The customer must carefully review the booking details to confirm whether these conditions apply to the selected car.

Even when a vehicle is marked as available without deposit or without credit card, the supplier may still require identity verification, a valid driving license, or other documents before handing over the vehicle.

12. Unlimited Mileage

Some offers include unlimited mileage. This condition applies only when clearly stated in the vehicle offer or booking confirmation. If unlimited mileage is not included, mileage restrictions may apply according to the supplier’s rules.

13. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process. RosCar Chile is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect driver details, incorrect email address, incorrect pickup information, or failure to comply with the rental company’s requirements.

The customer is also responsible for checking the booking voucher and contacting the rental company or RosCar Chile in case of any error or missing information.

14. Voucher and Communication

After a successful booking, a voucher will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. The voucher contains the booking details, instructions for pickup or delivery, and the contact details of the rental company.

It is the customer’s responsibility to check the email inbox and spam folder and to ensure that the provided email address is correct.

15. Limitation of Liability

RosCar Chile is responsible for providing the booking platform and transmitting reservation details to the relevant supplier. RosCar Chile is not responsible for the direct performance of the rental service, vehicle condition, supplier conduct, delays, refusal of service, or any issue arising from the rental agreement between the customer and the rental company.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RosCar Chile shall not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of travel plans, missed flights, or additional expenses resulting from rental supplier actions, force majeure events, or inaccurate information provided by the customer.

16. Force Majeure

RosCar Chile shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation, or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, airport disruptions, road closures, government actions, strikes, technical failures, or other unforeseen events.

17. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and for genuine booking inquiries or reservations. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or submit false or misleading booking information.

18. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

19. Changes to These Terms
